PINCH ME It's St. Patty's Day and I'm at WDW!

🍀  Lucky you, not only are you at Walt Disney World, but you are there during one of the most spirited, carefree, and fun holidays of the year, ST. PATRICK'S DAY! We are ALWAYS one to be celebrating something, and St. Patrick's Day is no exception! Grab your green Minnie ears, your quirky green knee socks, and let's get shamROCKED!!!

Here's our list of the TOP FOUR awesomely Irish things to do while enjoying St. Patty's Day at Walt Disney World!

#1 RAGLAN ROAD

I'm not going to beat around the bush; the absolute BIGGEST and best, must-do for your St. Patty's Day list is to visit Raglan Road in Disney Springs. It is ALWAYS St. Patrick's Day at Raglan road so you can imagine the excitement and energy that pulsates from this amazing, authentic Irish eatery during the ACTUAL St. Patrick's Day holiday.

From March 12th-17th, you can enjoy the "Mighty St. Patrick's Festival" at Raglan Road, this annual event will be paired down slightly to maintain safety protocols but it will still be just as entertaining, lively, and truly Irish as ever. For a $10 cover charge, you can enjoy inventive cuisine and beverages, listen to some live music, and enjoy watching award-winning Irish dancers perform. There is a two-hour table limit and reservations are required.

If you strike out with getting reservations for Raglan Road, never fear, the neighboring Quick Service spot, "Cookes of Dublin" has delicious Irish-influenced dishes and pints with some outdoor tables available so you can still catch some of the great live entertainment.

#2 ERIN GO BRAGH...loosely translates to BUY ALL THE SWEET MERCHANDISE!

You knnnnnow, Disney World will NOT disappoint when it comes to having some adorable St. Patrick's Day merchandise available for purchase. Who does holiday merchandise better?! (Ummm, no one.) You will have to act fast, there will be limited quantities available in places like the ever-popular Emporium on Main Street USA. Grab Minnie donned in her sweetest green dress, some festive ears, or whatever you can snatch up, because chances are by March 18th, you won't be able to find even a single clover leaf.

If you strike out at the Emporium, don't forget to check out the Ireland kiosk over in Epcot. It can be an easy spot to miss, it's a small area tucked between the United Kingdom and Canada. You'll find Ireland alive, well and for sale ALL year long at this great little nook in the World Showcase.

#3 GO GREEN...IN YOUR BELLY

Okay, any other day of the year, we typically associate green food with fear and apprehension. ("How long has THAT been in there?") However, for St. Patrick's Day, the greener, the better...eat ALL of the GREEN!

If you're spending the day in Magic Kingdom, swing by the always decadent "Main Street Bakery" where they will surely have some sweet St. Patty's day-themed cupcakes awaiting your arrival. (Typically with a simple vanilla buttercream and some super cute four-leaf clover sprinkles on top.) While in Hollywood Studios, take a break from saving the Galaxy and head over to the Trolley Car Café for one of their specialty St. Patty's Day treats.

Epcot will be the quintessential St. Patty's place to be, and you will need to make a pit stop in Rose & Crown for a pint of their green beer or cider to feel extra festive!

#4 SURPRISE TREATS

Isn't it just like Disney to pull out some surprise holiday showstoppers as well? They are the best for sprinkling little surprise bits of holiday pixie dust in the most surprising places. When they reopen, Casey's Corner actually has a special St. Patrick's Day hot dog! Picture one of Casey's famous hotdogs topped with corned beef, melted swiss cheese, and sauerkraut...that is St. Patty's on a bun!

Also, currently over at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Café is the drool-worthy sounding "Luck o' the Irish Coffee Panna Cotta." They've taken dark chocolate-coffee mousse, added vanilla panna cotta, Bailey's Irish Cream Panna Cotta and topped it with a Shamrock Cookie. Jaw-dropping. The best part is this limited-time treat is available for Mobile Order!

Couple these eats and sights with the beauty, green, and liveliness of Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival (happening NOW through July 5th) and your Spring will be kicked off in the most Mickey-approved way possible! May the road rise up to meet you, Pals! 🍀
